2024 data on licensed capacity are from the September 2024 New Hampshire Child Care Profile report from the Bureau of Child Development and Head Start Collaboration. 2022 data on licensed programs and capacity are from a NH DHHS request to the Governor to use federal funds to strengthen child care. All other program capacity data are from the 2021 NH Market Rate Survey Data on capacity v need gap in second dashboard use 2022 5-year U.S. Census ACS data on numbers of children under 6 likely in need of child care because the parents, or sole parent, they live with are in the labor force.
